Bring in the Dead.

The movie channel Encore is running their nightly showings of 1 movie over and over again until it's beaten into your head. This week movie is Bring in the Dead and of course i watch it almost as many times as they show it. This movie brings back memories of me and my best friends taking the long 30 mins drive to the best movie theater in the area at the time (AMC Hampton). I honestly miss those days were we planned everything out as best as we could and just saw movies. It didn't matter if the movie wasn't worth the price of the ticket it was printed on or if we watched the same movie 3 or 4 times. We were simply escaping life to head to the theater. I can share so many knee slappers tales and i do miss those were great times.
I like this movie because of the manner in which it's shot and Nicholas Cage. He plays a burnt out paramedic who's borderline crazy due to the job we works.. To think i complain after working a 9 hour shift i couldn't imagine working 12 hours shifts day after day. It has to be draining emotionally and mentally. The soundtrack is an interesting mix of music that i would have never suspected with doo woop from the 50s. So after i end this blog i'm going to watch this movie because it's on now.
